With Avangard Omsk's season over, the club's president Maxim Sushinsky gave an interview on Match TV, which was also posted on the official website of the club. Suchinsky expressed his displeasure with some players, including Sven Andrighetto. As the president states, the Swiss forward did not meet their expectations during games, despite a good performance in practice.

The 27-year-old is still under contract with the KHL-team for another year, but as Sushinsky mentions, there are some points that will have to be talked about. Whether this means Omsk will terminate said contract remains to be seen.

Andrighetto suited up 62 times for Avangard this past season, recording 13 goals and 16 assists. It was his first year in Russia after playing in North America since 2011.
