Grönborg was let go by the ZSC Lions on December 28 and was subsequently replaced by Marc Crawford. He had been the head coach of the National League team since 2019.
Tappara Tampere will be his first team in Finland. Other than Switzerland, he has been coaching in Sweden and North America.
