Fechtig injured
HC Thurgau
Bernhard Fechtig already missed Tuesday’s game against the HCB Ticino Rockets. The defenseman sustained an upper-body injury. He will have to undergo further medical examinations in order to determine the length of his absence.
The 26-year-old defenseman has only appeared in four games for HC Thurgau this season, recording three assists. He had already missed some time due to another, unrelated injury
As for Dominic Hobi, he left the game in the third period with a knee-injury after an incident involving Luca Hischier. According to the Thurgauer Zeitung, Hobi tried to return to the game but eventually had to throw in the towel. He is doubtful for their last game before the international break against the GCK Lions.
