Whereas their Canadian top scorer Riley Brace is dealing with an upper-body injury, forward Tim Wieser is out with a lower-body injury. With their injuries, EHC Winterthur loses their best goal-scorers. In a worst case scenario, they can only count on the two forwards again in the Swiss League's ranking round.

Riley Brace has recorded 42 points (18 goals) in 37 games and has not only collected the most points on the team, but is also their best goal scorer. Tim Wieser currently ranks third with 21 points (14 goals) in 37 games.
