A collision with teammate Dominic Zwerger during yesterday's game spelled the end of the forward's evening. It resulted in a torn ligament.

Marco Müller - sidelined for a while

In the 33rd minute of the game between HC Ambrì-Piotta and the ZSC Lions, the home team's Marco Müller and Dominic Zwerger collided. The former was unable to continue playing afterward.

As the Biancoblù announced today, the 26-year-old suffered a tear of the medial collateral ligament during the incident and will be sidelined for four to six weeks.

Müller has recorded two goals and two assists in his nine appearances so far this fall. Last season, the forward put up eleven goals and 20 assists in 50 games.
