The incident happened toward the end of the first period, in which HC Fribourg-Gottéron's forward Viktor Stålberg suffered a blow to the head. As a consequence, the Swede was not able to return to the game afterwards.
"He is suffering from headaches," HCFG's head coach Christian Dubé tells the Freiburger Nachrichten. "I hope it's nothing serious, though."
The 35-year-old is currently the dragons' second-best goal scorer. In 29 games he recorded 13 goals and added 13 assists.
