Dean Kukan is expected to be out of the Columbus Blue Jackets' lineup for eight weeks. The NHL team has thus placed him on injured reserve and recalled Gavin Beyreuther from the Cleveland Monsters, their AHL affiliate.
Kukan has appeared in two games for Columbus this season and has yet to put his name on the scoresheet.
