The Swiss national team starts into the fourth and last week of preparation before the World Championship. On the program is the fourth and final round of the Euro Hockey Tour. As part of the Czech Hockey Games, Switzerland will face Sweden (May 4), Finland (May 6), and Czechia (May 7).

In addition to Janis Moser (Arizona Coyotes), Patrick Fischer selected goalkeepers Robert Mayer (Genève-Servette HC) and Joren Van Pottelberghe (EHC Biel), defender Roger Karrer (Genève-Servette HC) and the four forwards Gaëtan Haas (EHC Biel), Mike Künzle (EHC Biel), Marco Miranda (Genève-Servette HC) and Tanner Richard (Genève-Servette HC).

For eight players joining the national team, five have to leave: the two goalkeepers Sandro Aeschlimann and Connor Hughes (who, however, remains on standby), defender Dominik Egli and the two forwards Dario Meyer and Sandro Schmid will not return to the preparation camp.
