As the cantonal physician of Zug confirmed to the SIHF, there is no risk of infection from these four players. All of them had already been tested positive in the past 90 days. Moreover, a now conducted antibody-test has shown that all of them have antibodies against the Coronavirus.
As a consequence, the team has taken up practice again today, none of the players have to leave the training camp. "We are convinced that this short break will not have a negative influence on the preparation for the World Juniors," Lars Weibel, Director of National Teams, comments.
The U20 World Championship will take place in Edmonton, Canada, from December 25 to January 5.
