NLA - As was reported last week, HC Fribourg-Gottéron's Anthony Huguenin seems to be of interest for EHC Biel. The Seelanders' team manager Martin Steinegger confirms this now in an interview with sport.ch.

"The interest on our part is there. He certainly is a type of player that could help us, particularly on the power play", says Steinegger. However, according to him, nothing is set in stone yet, but: "I can not elaborate further on it at moment."

Huguenin, 23, has already played two full season for the Seelanders from 2011 to 2013. He has made clear that he will not extend his contract with Gottéron and will therefore definitely be on a new team in the next season. This year, he has scored 15 points (three goals, twelve assists) in 42 games so far. (mso)
