As the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers announce, they have signed Corsin Casutt, Canadian Dion Knelsen and Nico Gurtner for the upcoming season. They have also extended the contracts of three of their players.

Casutt, 31, joins them from the Kloten Flyers (15 points in 47 games) and has agreed to a two-year contract. Knelsen, 27, is a center who spent the last three season in Norway, playing for Sparta Sarpsborg (71 points in 60 games). He has signed a one-year contract.

As for defenseman Nico Gurter, 19, he is a product of SC Bern and played 41 games for their Elite A team this season, scoring five goals and 19 assists. He too has signed a one-year deal.

Furthermore, the Lakers extend the contracts of forwards Steve Mason and Lars Frei for another year. The same applies to junior player Gianluca Zanzi, 19, who will be integrated into the first team in the upcoming season. (mso)
