The Nordwestschweiz (Aargauer Zeitung) had reported on Monday that Rytz was close to signing with EHC Olten. Martin Steinegger also told Watson yesterday that they allowed Rytz to talk to Olten and that they would be willing to let him go, if he finds a new employer.
In January, HC Ambrì-Piotta's Ivano Zanatta had also confirmed their interest in the goaltender for the upcoming season. Rytz has appeared in four games for the Seelanders this season thus far, posting a .919 save percentage.
