According to the Blick, a new job is not in sight. In fact, as the Neue Luzerner Zeitung reports in today's edition, David Aebischer even turned down a short-term offer from HC Ambrì-Piotta because he is looking for a long-term contract. Coach Serge Pelletier, obviously, was not ready to offer him that.
Nevertheless, Aebischer will keep working by himself and hope for a new contract offer. As Hockey Thurgau's coach Christian Weber told Blick, Aebischer might only be an emergency solution for Thurgau in the future. No more, no less.
