There had already been incidences after the game against EHC Olten, thus prompting Langenthal to issue a statement which clearly warned the fans about further consequences, if they would not change their behaviour. They did not listen.
A majority of the arena bans are issued by the Police Department of the Canton of Bern on the basis of violations on public property, such as breach of the peace and violence and threats against officials. Others are issued by SC Langenthal due to violence, vandalism at the arena and disregard for the arena's regulations.
The recipients of the ban will be kept out of all football and hockey arenas nationwide for the next two years. Further arena bans are currently being processed.
