Medical Report

Hockey Thurgau has provided an update on their injury list. At the moment, no less than five players are sidelined.

Top scorer Evan McGrath sustained a knee injury in last Saturday's game against the GCK Lions. He will miss up to six weeks and thus the remainder of the regular season and probably the playoffs as well. Therefore, Hockey Thurgau intends to look for another import player.

In the same game, defender Fabian Meier injured his hand and suffered a fissure fracture. He is expected to return to the ice in about two weeks.

Furthermore, Adrian Wichser is stil dealing with neck pain. He is slowly making progress. However, there is no timeline for his comeback at the moment.

Adrian Brunner, on the other hand, is expected to return for the playoffs. His thigh injury, however, does not allow him to participate in practices.

The same applies to Ryan Huras, who has not recovered from the concussion he sustained last fall. There is still no timeline for a return to practice. (bsc)
