24-year-old Schneuwly, who is a product of EV Zug's organisation, joined EHC Olten in 2014. In the 127 games he has played for them since then, he has scored 30 goals and 33 assists.
In other news, Anthony Rouiller sustained an upper body injury in Sunday's game against HC La Chaux-de-Fonds. He will have to undergo surgery and will miss about two months.
