It is not yet clear, whether his brother, Kellen Jones, will stay with the Swiss League team.

Connor Jones returns to North America
HC Thurgau

As Stephan Mair tells the Thurgauer Zeitung, Connor Jones will not return to Europe and stay in North America due to personal reasons. Jones recorded nine goals and 19 assists in 49 games for HCT this season.

As for Kellen Jones, his future is still unclear. While he is not the most productive import player (eleven goals, 18 assists in 41 games), Mair says that in terms of penalty killing, won duels, or scoring chances Jones (and his brother) "are miles ahead" of the other players. They will, however, certainly try to sign "a scorer" as their second import player.

As for the rest of HC Thurgau's roster, they have two open spots in defense as well as some vacant forward spots. However, in the latter case, this might still require patience as HC Thurgau was on the verge of an agreement with their partner team, the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, regarding which players would join them from the National League team via B-license/loan. However, they are "in talks with interesting players".
