The ZSC Lions will have to make do without Ronalds Kenins for one game. Furthermore, the league has initiated proceedings against HC Fribourg-Gottéron's Michal Birner and EHC Biel's Mathias Joggi.

Kenins has been issued a one-game suspension for spearing the SCL Tigers' Ville Koistinen in the 16th minute of play of the game on October 17. Additionally, he will have to pay a fine of CHF 2,500.-. Footage of the incident is available here.

As for Birner, he is under investigation for a potential hit to the head of EHC Biel's Robbie Earl in the 46th minute of play in Tuesday's game. Joggi, on the other hand, might be facing a suspension for a potential cross-check or a hit to the head of Yannick Rathgeb in the 57th minute of play of the same game.
