"Robert is the thinker and ruler of our game, and the leader when it comes to point production," as ZSC's team manager Sven Leuenberger explains the reasons for the contract renewal.

Nilsson, who is in possession of a Swiss players' license, is currently playing his fifth straight season with the Lions, after he joined them from KHL's Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in 2013. Since then, the 32-year-old winger has appeared in 237 games for them, scoring 63 goals and 151 assists.
