Just a few hours later, the club confirmed Kubalík's arrival. The Board of Directors managed to free up some money in order for the Czech to join the team now. The 22-year-old forward has a valid contract with HC Ambrì-Piotta but played for HC Plzeň up to now, as the Biancoblù did not have a spot for him this term. In 20 games for Plzeň since season start, he managed to score 16 goals and eight assists.
As for American center Jeff Taffe, the 36-year-old is set to remain with HCAP, at least for now. "There's no further movement planned at the moment. Coach Luca Cereda can thus count on five foreigners," team manager Paolo Duca told Ticinonline in an interview later today.
Dominik Kubalik arrive aujourd'hui à Ambri de Plzen. Jeffe Taffe quitte la Suisse pour Bratislava.
