Le Matin reported on Tuesday that GSHC was not the only team interested in Jacquemet. HC Fribourg-Gottéron and EHC Kloten apparently also courted the 29-year-old defenseman.

Jacquemet joined the Grenats in 2013 from the SCL Tigers. The defender has played 19 games for GSHC this season thus far, scoring four assists.
