Haas' agent Jaro Tuma confirmed to Watson at the end of October that the Calgary Flames were keeping an eye on his client. Just one month later, Serge Pelletier revealed on MySports that the Montreal Canadiens were also interested in Haas.
However, as Tuma emphasized, Haas will only take the chance to play overseas if he is offered a one-way contract. Should that be the case, he will have to obtain the go-ahead from SCB, as he is not in possession of an NHL out-clause, unlike Moser (contract till 2023) and Untersander (contract till 2022).
Regarding the 2018-19 season, Kirchhofer suggested that the arrival of Matthias Bieber from Kloten indicates that there might no longer be a roster spot for Gian-Andrea Randegger and Dario Meyer. Both contracts are set to expire in April next year.
