EHC Biel has taken an interest in SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers' Hügli

According to the Journal du Jura (relayed by SwissHabs), EHC Biel is interested in the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers' Michael Hügli, whose contract with the Lakers will expire at the end of the season.

Team manager Martin Steinegger confirmed the report but did not elaborate further. Hügli is a product of EV Zug's organization but has been with the Lakers since 2015. In 30 games for the Swiss League team this season thus far, the 22-year-old forward has recorded nine goals and 17 assists.
