The 26-year-old forward, who will be part of Switzerland's Olympic team, has been scouted by several NHL teams this season. His agent told Watson last year that his client has been actively observed by the Calgary Flames for a long period of time.
He also has been watched by the Montreal Canadiens during the Karjala Cup. The interest in the Swiss center has thus not decreased. In 43 games for the Bears, Haas has recorded 15 goals and 25 assists.
