According to the Tages-Anzeiger, EHC Kloten's defenseman Lukas Stoop is likely to return to Davos for the upcoming 2018-19 season.

The SonntagsBlick had already reported in mid-December that Stoop was leaving Kloten after this season and speculated that the player could end up in the Landwassertal once again. The 27-year-old joined EHC Kloten in 2012, after he played with HC Davos for five straight years.

After Luca Hischier, who is set to join the team from SC Bern, it would be HCD's second addition to their roster for the 2018-19 season. The remaining gaps, caused by the departures of Sciaroni (off to Bern) as well as Schneeberger and Walser (off to Fribourg), are supposed to be filled with their own youth players.

HC Davos has therefore signed youngsters Julian Payr, Dominic Buchli, Davyd Barandum (defensemen) and Yannick Frehner to their very first professional contracts, the same source reports. Except Buchli, captain of the Elite A youth team, all those players have already received some ice time in the National League this season.
