Because there is a discrepancy between price and performance, EV Zug reportedly would like to get rid of forward Reto Suri. According to the NZZ, the club would not hesitate to transfer the 29-year-old back to his former team SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers in case of a promotion to the National League. Suri had already played for Rapperswil from 2010 to 2012 before he joined EVZ.

Moreover, forward Timothy Kast seems to be set to leave the club after only one season, the NZZ writes. The 29-year-old joined Zug from Genève-Servette HC at the beginning of the season and will probably go the other way now that the season has ended for EVZ. Kast only managed to put up 13 points (three goals, ten assists) in 53 games.

As for the new head coach, EV Zug wants to take their time to find the right fit. According to several news outlets, ZSC's Hans Kossmann seems to be a valid option. "That's just speculation," EVZ's CEO Patrick Lengwiler says to Blick. "We don't have a contact with Hans Kossmann." Zug is looking for a coach, who likes to work with and develop young players.
