The 33-year-old defender is set to play with HC Davos in both of their games against HC Ambrì-Piotta and the ZSC Lions.

Kparghai finds himself in HCD's lineup for the matchup with Ambrì-Piotta due to the injury-related absences of defensemen Lukas Stoop (concussion) and Claude-Courdin Paschoud (undisclosed). He will thus make his comeback for the team from the Landwassertal after almost twelve years. As the club writes, he is expected to play for them again in Sunday's game in Zurich.

The 33-year-old Swiss-Liberian, whose contract in Lugano is set to expire in April next year, has suited up in a total of 18 games on loan with the HCB Ticino Rockets this season so far, recording three goals and three assists.

In mid-October this year, the Journal du Jura reported that Kparghai is not happy with his situation in Lugano/Biasca and that he hopes to find a new team to play for this season, despite his valid contract with HCL.
