As La Liberté (relayed by SwissHabs) writes, Laurent Meunier will not stay with HC Fribourg-Gottéron once his contract is up in a few months. The forward, who recently celebrated his 40th birthday, is currently on a one-year contract he signed last summer after already suiting up for Fribourg last season.

If Meunier will join a different team or put an end to his career is not yet known. The forward has played 210 National Leagues so far, putting up 41 goals and 55 assists. He has also suited up 107 times in the Swiss League, recording 36 goals and 80 assists.
