SC Bern and their forward André Heim have agreed to terms on a two-year extension of his current contract.

Coming from their own youth department, the 20-year-old made his National League debut last season and made 37 appearances for the Bears. This term so far, he has suited up 38 times. He has also been with EHC Visp occasionally, playing ten games in the Swiss League.

National team head coach Patrick Fischer has called Heim up for the two prospect games against Germany this week.

Mika Henauer, currently playing for SC Langenthal on a B-licence and out with a concussion, has signed his first professional contract with Bern. It will last until 2021. The 18-year-old defenceman is a product of the Bears' youth department.
