Daniel Winnik's extension was already announced yesterday, as Bastien Trottet (1905.ch) reported from the Genève-Servette HC's supporters -dinner. Today, this was confirmed by the club.

A veteran of multiple NHL-seasons (861 games), the Canadian spent the pre-season in North America on a tryout contract with the Boston Bruins, but was released early in October, which led to him joining the Grenats.

"It means a lot to me to be able to remain with this great organization. My wife and I love Geneva and are looking forward to staying for two more years", the 33-year-old Canadian is quoted.

Tim Bozon will also continue to be a part of Genève-Servette for another two seasons. In his junior time, he already was with the Eagles for a few years. In 2011, he moved overseas to play in the WHL. Later on, he was drafted by the Montreal Canadians and spent some time in the AHL and ECHL before returning to Switzerland in 2017. After one season with EHC Kloten, the 24-year-old joined the Grenats last summer.

"I am very happy to continue this adventure in Geneva for another two years", Bozon comments.

Winnik has suited 31 times so far for Servette, recording three goals and 20 assists, while Bozon has appeared in 35 games, putting up three goals and seven assists.
