The contract of the 35-year-old goaltender with the Grenats includes an option for a second season.

Daniel Manzato will join Servette.

Genève-Servette HC officially confirmed the rumor that the Tribune de Genève started earlier today. With this signing, Daniel Manzato will support and mentor Gauthier Descloux and Stéphane Charlin for at least the next season. Manzato will leave therefore HC Ambrì-Piotta after two years.

Chris McSorley, team manager of Geneva, is very happy about the signing: "Since Daniel started playing professionally, he has always been one of the best goalkeepers in the country. He is a dedicated player to his team and is highly appreciated by his teammates. Daniel will bring his experience to the team but he will also be an excellent mentor."

Manzato has suited up 17 times in this regular season for the Biancoblù, posting a save percentage of 92.2%, the third-highest in the league.
