Dominik Volejnicek to stay in Zug?

“I would like to stay in Zug. It is my youth team and I have my roots here,“ Volejnicek tells the Neue Luzerner Zeitung. He adds that he will certainly look at all his options and if he were to receive an opportunity from another team to play in the National League, he would definitely consider it: “I'm eager to make the move to the National League for the next season.”

Volejnicek is currently in his third professional season and the captain of EV Zug’s farm team, the EVZ Academy. He has recorded four goals and eleven assists in 27 games this season. He also suited up in seven games for EVZ, but did not put his name on the scoresheet.
