The 20-year-old goaltender is at the end of his contract with EV Zug.

Gianluca Zaetta and the Tigers: a potential match?

The rumors about a potential departure of Damiano Ciaccio to HC Ambrì-Piotta, despite a valid contract until 2021, are still going strong. According to the Berner Zeitung, there are now rumblings that the SCL Tigers have started to look at the market for a potential replacement.

Gianluca Zaetta is rumored to be one of the candidates. EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy confirmed to the newspaper that Zaetta has been in talks with other teams but does not exclude the possibility of him staying with the Bulls beyond his current contract.

Zaetta has appeared in 14 games for the EVZ Academy this season, posting a .886 save percentage. He was also part of Switzerland's team for the 2020 World Juniors. He did, however, not play in the tournament.
