As EHC Biel announced today, they have signed Pouliot to a one-year contract extension. It will be his fifth season with the team since he joined from HC Fribourg-Gottéron a month into 2016-17. He also was in Biel for one year before becoming part of the Dragons.

In a total of 377 National League games since 2012, the 34-year-old put up 106 goals and 206 assists. He also brings the experience of 200 appearances in the NHL, recording 22 goals and 37 assists.
