National League

In an Instagram post, the 28-year-old defenseman bade farewell to the Bianconeri, for which he suited up in the past four years.

Massimo Ronchetti

"Thank you for these four fantastic years. Wearing the HCL jersey has always been my dream, and I will always be grateful to all the people - inside and outside the organization - who supported me and made me realize it," Ronchetti posted on Instagram.

The Bianconeri's homegrown defender, whose expiring contract has obviously not been extended, made his National League debut with HC Lugano in the 2009-10 season. After a four-year stint with Ajoie, Thurgau, and the SCL Tigers, he returned to his youth team in 2016.

This past season, Ronchetti not only suited up for Lugano but also the HCB Ticino Rockets (17 games, 14 points). For HC Lugano, he appeared in a total of ten games, recording one assist.
