The 19-year-old right winger is on his way back to Switzerland and might suit up for SC Bern as of the 2020-21 season.

That is what John Lydic, sports anchor/reporter for the Erie News Now, reported a few days ago. Sopa would thus return to the Bears, which he left for the Niagara IceDogs from North America's Ontario Hockey League (OHL) two years ago.

In the past two seasons, Sopa has suited up in 93 games for the Niagara IceDogs (62 points) and - after being traded away at the beginning of January this year - in 22 games for the Erie Otters, recording five goals and 10 assists.
