As David Ullström tells HockeyNews.se, there has been interested for him in Switzerland, Germany and Sweden, but "it so far stopped at interest." He, for example, had discussions with HV71, but, as he says, he had quite early made his intentions clear that he would like to return to Switzerland.
Martin Steinegger told the Bieler Tagblatt back in June that if they will be able to start the season with four import players, Ullström would be a top candidate.
Ullström, for his part, reiterates to HockeyNews.se that Biel is still a valid option for him and that he hopes "that it will work out [with a contract] in Switzerland, I had such a good season last year. As long as they get over [the financial side of things] and get the league started, the clubs will start to miss players."
