Due to Covid-19, the Bulls will have to reduce their payroll. Independently of that, some of their players will not be extended.

Likely to stick around: Raphael Diaz

With the financial difficulties caused by Covid-19, EV Zug will have to significantly cut salaries, team manager Reto Kläy states to the Luzerner Zeitung. In addition, the club has 13 players with expiring contracts. Of the six defensemen and seven forwards, some will have to leave.

On defense, it seems to be questionable whether Jesse Zgraggen will still be around next season. On offense, Swede Erik Thorell looks like he might be on the way out.

Adding another import player at some point, this season is still a possibility, but it would have to be financially reasonable. At the moment, Zug cannot afford to do so anyway.
