Just like other clubs, the Leventinesi have handed in their request for the so-called à-fonds-perdu contributions to minimize their losses.

In their statement, HC Ambrì-Piotta writes of a "very serious financial situation" due to the lack of revenues in ticket sales, gastronomy and hospitality this season. "The à-fonds-perdu aid that the club has requested will not be enough to make up for the lost revenue and the additional costs generated by the pandemic," HCAP's president Filippo Lombardi explains.

The club thus already plans for the future with further measures, Lombardi states: "The club has decided to proceed with a further capital increase in the next weeks in order to lay the foundations of a stable future for its youngsters and a competitive team that will be able to offer strong emotions also in its new home."

Next season, the Biancoblù will move from the old to the new Valascia. Hopefully, to play in front of their fans again.
