As of ten days ago, EHC Biel was still waiting for the defenseman to declare his intentions for his future. It looks like he has reached a decision.

Beat Forster

According to the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, there are rumblings that Beat Forster (two goals, two assists in 32 games) has decided to extend his contract with the Seelanders for another season.

There had not been any progress in the negotiations for quite some time. Team manager Martin Steinegger told the Bieler Tagblatt in mid-February that he was waiting for the 38-year-old defenseman to decide whether he would like to continue or put an end to his career.
