About a month before the start of the championship, Justin Krueger was able to earn himself an extension for an additional year with Lausanne HC. Krueger joined the Lions at the beginning of the last season, after seven years with SC Bern.
In 53 championship games with LHC, the German-Canadian defender with the Swiss player's license did not record a single point while averaging about seven minutes on the ice per game.
