At the center of market rumors in recent weeks, Leonardo Genoni eventually decided to stay with EV Zug, with whom he reached an agreement for three more seasons. Arrived in Zug in 2019 from Bern, Genoni was a key element in Zug's championship wins in 2021 and in 2022.
Leonardo Genoni is delighted to be staying in Zug: "For me, the whole package offered by EV Zug is right. I feel comfortable here and feel the trust of the entire organization." Team manager Reto Kläy is also enthusiastic about the extension: "Leo is a great personality, on and off the ice. He is clearly one of the top performers in our team".
