For the remainder of the season, EHC Biel is sending Ian Derungs to play on loan for EV Zug. As he is only on the first half of his two-year contract, the forward will presumably return to his original team afterward.
"With an eye on the playoffs, Ian's loan until the end of the season gives us the chance to improve our roster depth", Zug's team manager Reto Kläy states.
The 24-year-old has appeared in 17 games for Biel, being kept off of the scoresheet so far.
