Already involved in the youth sector of HC Lugano since his retirement as a professional hockey player, Alessandro Chiesa takes a step further and becomes the manager of the whole organization. Werder thus leaves the youth department after twelve years as manager.
The main challenge identified by the former defender, as quoted by HeShootsHeScoores, "is to continue on the same path as Marco Werder, and develop the opportunities that will come through the new ice rink in Sigirino. Numerically we can grow, the primary goal is to increase recruitment and broaden our base."
