After one year of collaborating with the Bellinzona Rockets, the SCL Tigers have decided to withdraw from the project and form a partnership with EHC Chur. The club of the MyHockey League has conquered the promotion and will play in the Swiss League. The coaches of EHC Chur are brothers Reto and Jan Von Arx, who went through the Tigers' youth organization around 30 years ago.

Pascal Müller, team manager of the Tigers, comments: "The cooperation will help both clubs to develop at all levels in the short and medium term. We will benefit from the cooperation in the sporting area both on and off the ice and be able to utilize synergies." The collaboration is initially limited to one year.

NHL player Nino Niederreiter, who works as an ambassador and advisor to EHC Chur, believes that collaboration with the Tigers scan help EHC Chur successfully continue on their path in the Swiss League. "EHC Chur and the SCL Tigers both rely on their young talent. I am convinced that this partnership offers the best possible basis for promoting and advancing young talent," states Niederreiter.

Moreover, the SCL Tigers have also announced the return of Tim Mathys from North America after one season. The 19-year-old defender left the U20 squad of the Tigers last season to suit up in the NAHL with the El Paso Rhinos. Mathys signed a one-year contract with Langnau. In Texas, Mathys earned himself a regular place in the lineup and has played 44 games so far recording two goals and eight assists.
