After leaving his youth team in 2004, Simon Rytz (photo) returned to Biel in 2013. The 32-year-old goaltender is currently in his third consecutive season with the Seelanders. Early in December, it was reported that both HC Ambrì-Piotta and the Kloten Flyers had offered him a contract.
The 24-year-old defenseman Nicholas Steiner joined Biel in 2014. The former junior player of the Kloten Flyers has since played 73 games for the Seelanders and managed to put up ten points (four goals, six assists). (bsc)
