EHC Biel has extended the contracts with their import-forwards Toni Rajala and Robbie Earl for two additional seasons. Also defensemen Mauro Dufner (2 years) and Kevin Fey (3 years) will stay with the Seelanders until further notice.​

The Finn Toni Rajala, 25, joined EHC Biel from SHL's Luleå HF this summer and suited up in 19 games for them since then (13 goals, four assists). The 31-year-old American Robbie Earl (photo), on the other hand, is a Seelander since January 2016. In a total of 38 games for Biel, the club's current top scorer managed to post 16 goals and 27 assists.

As for Mauro Dufner, the 21-year-old joined EHC Biel from SC Bern in summer 2015. Since then, Dufner appeared in 66 games and was able to score one goal and seven assists. Kevin Fey, 25, is currently playing his fourth straight season under contract with EHCB and managed to put up one goal and six assists in 19 games this term so far.
