As Ambrì's team manager Ivano Zanatta confirmed to La Regione, both Melvin Nyffeler, 22, and EHC Biel's Simon Rytz (photo), 33, are options to build a goaltender-duo with Gauthier Descloux next season. "They are definitely names we're considering," Zanatta says. "But first we have to see which combination would be the right one. Then, however, it would also be nice to know what Reto Berra will do..."
Reto Berra? His contract with the Florida Panthers is running out at the end of the current season. "If I learned that Reto Berra decided to return to Switzerland, I will certainly try. At all costs," Zanatta says to the same source, but adds: "As long as my bosses will not say 'no' to me..."
