Tristan Vauclair still has a valid contract with Martigny Red Ice for the upcoming season. Nonetheless, the 32-year-old forward could return to HC Fribourg-Gottéron next season, as the player tells La Liberté (relayed by Swisshabs).

After five seasons with the Dragons, Vauclair left HCFG last summer and joined Martigny Red Ice. In October already, Fribourg acquired his B-license and he is now also playing for them in the postseason. As Red Ice will likely have to cut some salaries, Vauclair is contemplating a return to Fribourg. However, he will talk to the team after the season.

This season, Vauclair appeared in 44 games for Red Ice, putting up 16 points (eight goals, eight assists). For the Dragons, he has appeared in three games this season so far.
