Forward Tony Mårtensson, who will definitely leave HC Lugano, wants to continue his career. As his agent Jocke Persson tells hockeybladet.nu, the 36-year-old has several offers from NLA and SHL teams.

Thus, Mårtensson could, in fact, continue to play in Switzerland. "He has several options to choose from and there is no need to rush," Persson adds. "He will certainly play in Switzerland or Sweden next year; this is certain."

The Aftonbladet reported earlier this week that Mårtensson might decide this week if he will play for Linköping HC next season. In addition, Byrnäs IF and Djurgården Hockey are reportedly interested in signing him; the latter, however, is not an option for Mårtensson, as he has told corren.se on Monday.

Mårtensson joined the Bianconeri at the beginning of the 2015-16 season. He appeared in a total of 111 games for them, scoring 32 goals and 50 assists.
